BNL’s 3-piece design In-Line Check Valve offers the best combination of benefits for critical service in nuclear power plants. Available in commercial grade, ASME B31.1, ASME B16.34, or with ASME Section III N-Stamp; the valve design can be configured for special processes when required. The In-Line Check Valve provides the user a simple, reliable answer for difficult applications.

The In-Line Check Valve conforms to the axial flow model, utilizing a light spring to assist valve closure, avoiding the potential for water hammer. The internal dynamics of this style valve involve a minimum mass movement, resulting in less wear and longer life for valve internals than swing and lift check designs. The In-Line Check Valve offers the versatility of metallic or non-metallic seating, providing for tight shutoff in all applications.

Tight Shutoff - Even at low differential pressures (dP). Valves are tested and inspected for bubble tight seal prior to shipment

Easy Servicing - The removable center section and four internal parts ensure quick access and minimal maintenance.

No Slam Design - The axial flow design ensures closure prior to flow reversal, avoiding check valve slam and water hammer.

Self-Flushing - The In-Line Check Valve is self-flushing and will not “gum up” and hang open, a common problem with piston checks.

Reliability - There are no worn or broken hinge pins or misaligned discs, common causes of swing check valve failures.
