Boxholder Builder

The Boxholder Builder tool was added to Simon so that new Simon users will have a means of setting up all of their current boxholders without having to set up all of the history that accompanies a normal box rental situation. The Boxholder Builder requires very little information in order for the boxholder record to be placed into the system and, most importantly, for Simon to be able to process upcoming due dates appropriately.

The form as shown above shows how the form appears when you open it before you enter any information.

The form as shown above has information in the boxes as you might enter someone. Click on the Step 2 button to move forward. Before you move on, do notice that the information in yellow at the bottom changes as you move forwarding adding information about a person. When the text at the bottom turns green, the information you have entered is sufficient to add this client's record to Simon.

The form above shows Step 2 information in place. If the box is a combination lock box, there will be a combination instead of the number of keys item and the key number item. If the box does not have front access for the client, such as a mail forwarding only box, no key or combination information will be shown here.

The form above shows Step 3 information completed and the message at the bottom telling you that you have all information needed to move to the next boxholder.

The form above is the Boxholder Information form showing this new listing's history. Note that the opening is set as 'Duration Unknown' since it would be impossible for Simon to know how the boxholder paid for each renewal of rents. But, this is enough for Simon to add full history in the future for this client. You see, this makes entering your client's pretty easy when you first start using the Simon program!

Hope this helps!
